The long-term future of the Grosvenor mine and its workforce hangs in the balance
There are positive signs that the underground fire at Grosvenor Mine is out, allowing owner Anglo American to consider the next phase in their response.
The fire that broke out nearly three weeks ago forced the evacuation and closure of the mine and will mean hundreds of employees and contractors will be jobless by September.
