Cause of fire unknown
A month on, and safety investigators have nothing to report on the Grosvenor fire
Resource Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) says it has yet to work out what caused the Grosvenor underground fire, which has cost hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars.
The 29th June fire forced the evacuation and closure of the mine for the foreseeable future, with miners employed at the site to be paid until the end of August.
