Mine rescue facilities in the Bowen Basin to get an upgrade
The Queensland Mines Rescue Service (QMRS) has secured an 18-hectare parcel of land to build a new training facility at Moranbah.
QMRS has two rescue stations, one near Blackwater and a 30-year-old facility near Dysart, which they say is well past its use-by date.
