Active above ground as underground stabilises
Anglo-American says they are closer to confirming the underground fire at Grosvenor mine is completely out and have allowed key personnel to return to the above-ground offices and workshops at the mine.
It's been three weeks since an underground fire erupted, forcing the evacuation and closure of the mine.
"Our progress toward stabilisation of Grosvenor Mine continues with all monitoring data trending in the right direction," a spokesperson said this week.
